Overall...It is recommended that after application and the product has dried, use a mild hand or body lotion on the treated area. This may reduce some staining and give the skin extra moisture. It is suggested that Vaseline Intensive Care not be used as it may clog the pores.

For the hands....Since the hands are constantly in use and being washed, they are more difficult to treat. The method of treatment that we recommend is.....apply Psoriasis Solution ™ liberally before bed, allow to dry and apply a thick coating of mild hand cream. Before the cream has a chance to dry put on rubber, cotton or latex gloves and sleep in them over night. In the morning after showering apply the solution, allow to dry then apply hand cream. Repeat this step as many times as possible during the day.

Inside the ears....After showering, coat your little finger with the solution and apply to the inside of the ear. Using Q-Tips could waste the product and not give even distribution.

Genital or Tail Bone area....You may choose to use the product in these areas at your own discretion or with the advise of your doctor.

Finger and Toe Nails....Apply liberally at the cuticles and around the nails, allow to dry and use a mild hand cream.

Knees and Elbows.... Because these areas are difficult to treat use as many times a day as possible followed by body lotion.

Scalp....Apply in the same direction as the hair growth not against the grain. At night you may choose to wear a shower cap of some kind to reduce the possibility of staining pillows and pillows cases.
